FUNNEL CAKES 
1 1/3 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. sugar
3/4 tbsp. baking powder
1 egg
2/3 c. milk (add more if batter is too thick)

Sift together dry ingredients in bowl. Mix egg and add to dry ingredients, beat until smooth. Using a funnel, hold finger over bottom hole and fill with batter. Let batter drop in a spiral motion into pan with 1 inch hot oil. Fry until brown, turning once. Remove and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cinnamon mixture. Serve hot.
