CHICKEN AND TORTELLINI WITH DILL SAUCE | |
1 lb. cubed chicken 1/2 pt. heavy cream 3-4 tbsp. butter 1/4 or 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1-1 1/2 tsp. dry dill weed 4 oz. Parmesan cheese (grated) 1 lb. cheese tortellini Melt butter in large frying pan. Add chicken and pepper. Saute chicken until cooked (5-10 minutes). Add heavy cream, nutmeg, dill and cheese. Simmer and stir so that sauce will thicken (20 minutes or so). About 15 minutes before sauce is done, cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain tortellini and add to chicken and sauce. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring often. Serves 3-4. |
