TURKEY CASSEROLE | |
6 oz. fettuccine or med. noodles 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen cut broccoli 3 tbsp. butter 1/2 tsp. dried basil, crushed 1/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 1/2 c. milk 2 1/2 c. chopped cooked turkey or chicken 3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside. Thaw broccoli. In large saucepan melt butter. Stir in flour and seasonings. Add milk all at once. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 1 minute more. Stir in turkey, 1/2 cup cheese and broccoli and add pasta. Transfer mixture to greased 12 x 7 x 2 inch baking dish. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove foil, sprinkle with remaining cheese, and bake, uncovered 5-10 minutes more until heated through. |
