CHILI 
2 1/2 lbs. ground beef
2 c. chopped onion
1 green pepper, chopped
3 cloves garlic or powder
2 1/2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. Tabasco sauce, if desired
1/2 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. salt
2 cans red kidney beans, undrained
2 cans (1 lb. size) canned tomatoes, undrained
2 sm. cans tomato sauce

Brown ground beef. Pour off fat. Add onion, green pepper, garlic, Tabasco sauce, chili powder, oregano and salt. Cook until onion and green pepper are cooked. Add beans, tomatoes and tomato sauce. Simmer about 45 minutes.
