SAUSAGE SAUERKRAUT SUPREME 
1 c. chopped onion
2 lb. butter
1 lb. Polish sausage
3 c. sauerkraut (drained)
1 1/2 c. sour cream

Saute onion in butter until onion is tender. Add sausage and drained kraut simmer an hour. Add sour cream and spoon into pita bread. This is good simmered in the crockpot a couple of hours on low. Serves 8.
