BROWNIES 
3/4 c. cocoa
4 tbsp. oil
2/3 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

FROSTING:

8 oz. cream cheese
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla

Combine cocoa and oil in a large saucepan. Add shortening and heat on low setting just until melted. Remove from heat. Mix in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Stir until well mixed.

Spread into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until brownies start to pull away from the sides of pan. Do not over bake. Cool.

Combine frosting ingredients in a bowl and beat for 2 minutes. Spread on cooled brownies. Garnish with curls of chocolate or freshly grated chocolate.
