SAVORY STRING BEAN SALAD 
1 lb. green beans or a 1 lb. can
6 tbsp. salad oil
3 tbsp. vinegar
Salt and pepper
1 onion, minced
4 hard cooked eggs, chopped
2 tsp. vinegar
3 tbsp. mayonnaise
1 tsp. prepared mustard
4 strips bacon, sauteed

Cook beans and cool, or drain canned beans. Add oil, vinegar and salt and pepper to taste; mix. Cover and chill.

Combine onion, egg, vinegar, mayonnaise and mustard; cover and chill. When ready to serve, toss crumbled bacon with beans. Heap into a bowl lined with lettuce and top with egg mixture. Serves 4 or 5.
