PEA AND STRING BEAN MARINATED
SALAD
 
1 (16 oz.) can French beans, do not drain
1 (16 oz.) can garden peas, do not drain
1 sm. jar pimentos, do not drain
1 sm. red onion, sliced thin
1 stalk celery, chopped
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1/4 c. oil
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 clove minced garlic

Combine first 5 ingredients and place in bowl. Mix sugar, vinegar, oil, paprika, and garlic. Pour over pea mixture. Let salad set overnight. Longer or shorter of time setting doesn't matter. It will still be good.
