STRAWBERRY CAKE WITH STRAWBERRY
ICING
 
1 box Duncan Hines Cake Mix
4 eggs
1 box Strawberry Jello
1 c. strawberries (save juice for icing)
1/2 c. Crisco oil

Mix cake mix, eggs, Jello, strawberries and crisco oil together, pour into 3 greased and floured 9-inch cake pans and bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.

Icing:

1 box confectioner sugar
1 stick butter
2 tbsp. Flour
Juice from the strawberries

Mix these ingredients with low setting of electric mixer until well blended then spread on cooled cake layers. Sometimes toothpicks are required between layers to prevent slipping and sliding and to hold cake together.
