2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
2/3 c. Crisco

Combine these 4 ingredients, mix until crumbly. (Reserve 1/2 cup to sprinkle over batter in pans). 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1 c. sour milk 2 eggs, beaten

Add sour milk and beaten eggs to flour mix. Pour into greased and floured pans. Top with reserved crumbs and dry ingredients, from above. Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Fills three 8 inch pans or 1 large cake pan.
