STUFFED BELL PEPPERS | |
1 lb. ground meat 1 lg. onion, chopped 6 to 8 med. size peppers 1/2 c. uncooked rice 1 lg. can V-8 juice 2 tbsp. Tony's Season Crumble raw meat in a large bowl. Cut tops off peppers. Core and clean. Save tops. Chop onion and tops of peppers. Add to meat. Add rice and Tony's season. Add 1 cup of the V-8 juice to meat mixture. Save the rest. Mix meat mixture well. Stuff into peppers. Place stuffed peppers in a large iron skillet. Pour the remaining V-8 juice over peppers. Cover with lid and cook 1 hour over medium heat on top of your stove. |
