JIFFY TOFFEE 
1 stick butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. chopped pecans
1 (6 oz.) pkg. fudge chips (semi-sweet chocolate chips)

Butter an 8-inch square pan. Sprinkle pecans evenly into pan. In saucepan combine sugar and butter. Cook to 270 to 280 degrees (use a candy thermometer) and pour over pecans in pan. Immediately sprinkle chips over this. As chocolate melts, spread with spatula. Let cook immediately and break into small pieces.
