1 (18.25 oz.) pkg. cake mix, any flavor
1 lg. egg
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 c. chopped nuts or can use oatmeal or raisins

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl combine cake mix, egg, oil, and 1/4 cup water; beat with electric mixer at medium speed until well blended. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop batter by scant tablespoonfuls about 1 inch apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes or until cookies are set. Remove cookies from oven and allow to cool completely before removing from sheet. Makes about 4 dozen.
