TAMALE CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. yellow cornmeal
4 c. boiling water
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. oil
6 oz. can tomato paste
1/2 c. sliced stuffed olives
1 c. sliced ripe olives
1/2 c. chopped green peppers
2 tsp. chili powder
1 c. beef bouillon
1 can whole kernel corn
Dash of cayenne pepper
2 tsp. salt
1 c. shredded cheese

Stir cornmeal into rapidly boiling water. Cook and stir until thick. Remove from heat.

Brown onion in oil in a heavy skillet. Add ground beef and cook until redness of meat disappears. Add tomato paste, stuffed and ripe olives, chili powder, green pepper, corn, cayenne, bouillon and salt. Stir well. Combine with cornmeal mixture.

Pour into a shallow baking dish 12x8x2 inch. Sprinkle with shredded cheese over top. Dash paprika liberally over surface. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serves 6.
