1 lg. onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic
8 oz. water
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. sugar
1 bay leaf
1 tbsp. basil
1 1/2 tsp. oregano
2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
Pinch of chili powder
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Brown meatballs and/or Italian sausage in oil. Mix all ingredients above in a large pot. Add meatballs and/or sausage. Simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
