TEXAS HASH 
3 tbsp. fat
3 lg. onions, sliced
1 lg. green pepper, minced
1 lb. hamburg
2 c. cooked tomatoes (#1 tall can)
1/2 c. uncooked rice (or 2 c. uncooked noodles)
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

In fat, cook onions and green pepper until onions are yellow. Add hamburg and fry until mixture falls apart. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into greased 2 quart casserole. Cover and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees, removing cover last 15 minutes. 6 servings.
