UPSIDE DOWN GERMAN CHOCOLATE
CAKE
 
1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 c. pecans, chopped (6 oz. pkg.)
1 c. coconut (I use sm. pkg.)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 sticks butter
1 box powdered sugar

Prepare cake as per directions on box. Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan. Layer nuts on bottom of pan. Spread coconut on top of nuts. Melt cream cheese and butter in microwave (approximately 3 minutes), add powdered sugar and beat until smooth. Pour over coconut. Mix cake batter and pour over butter and cheese mixture. Bake 50 to 60 minutes at 325 degrees. Let set 5 to 10 minutes and then turn upside down on serving plate.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
