GERMAN CHOCOLATE UPSIDE-DOWN
CAKE
 
1 c. chopped pecans
2 c. coconut
1 chocolate cake mix
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 egg
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 stick butter

In a well-greased 9 x 13 pan, place pecans in a layer, then top with a layer of coconut. Prepare cake mix as directed and pour over the coconut.

Mix cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar and egg until fluffy. Spread over cake mix, keeping 3/4-inch away from all sides.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes. Test for doneness with a toothpick. Cool completely, then invert onto plate.
