Cooked Play Dough

Thank you! Just made this in 3 min flat. My 2-year-old has been asking for play-doh the whole morning, and ours was finished/dried up. I had to use self-rising flour as the regular flour was used up too. It worked! We also added a contrasting glitter. I thought that it would have to cool down before we could use it but it was ready under 5 min. A whisk works well to combine all the ingredients initially, then a spoon. Don't think I'm ever going to buy store play-dough again!

Followed the recipe exactly, was perfect as I only had a small amount of oil. Lasts a long time when I put it in the fridge between uses (about a month and a half).

This is the best recipe and one I always used to use. It's simple and it lasts a long time. I thought I'd try the Kool-Aid recipe to change it up once and even though it smelled great, it was way to soft and sticky and didn't last. I can get this to last for months if I keep it in a cool place in an air tight container.
