1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup salt
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 tablespoons powdered alum
2 1/2 cups pre-sifted flour

Combine all ingredients and knead by hand or using a stand mixer. Add food coloring to tint to desired color. Place in airtight container in refrigerator until half hour before using.

Great for kids to make and play with. Makes nice Christmas ornaments, too.
