QUICK AND EASY HAMBURGER PIE 
1 lb. ground meat
1 tsp. salt
1 medium onion
1 (#2) can tomatoes
1/2 cornbread mix

Brown meat in 10 inch iron skillet. Add salt and onion; cook until onion is tender. Mash tomatoes and add liquid to meat mixture. Add 1/2 can water. Bring to boil; stir and simmer 20 minutes. Remove from heat and pour cornbread batter over liquid mixture. Place in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Invert into round meat platter for serving. Slice in six pie wedges. Yield: 6 servings.
