FISH BOIL 
1 c. salt
8 to 10 sm. potatoes
2 to 4 onions
2 lb. fish (1 inch thick)

Scrub potatoes and cut a thin slice off each end; do not peel. Leave onions whole. Cut fish into serving size pieces. Bring a large pot of water, with the salt, to a boil. Add potatoes. Bring back to a boil and boil for 12 minutes.

Add onions and boil 6 minutes more. Add fish. Bring back to a boil and boil a final 12 minutes. Remove fish and vegetables to platters. Serve with melted butter.
