BANANA SPLIT DESSERT | |
Crust: 2 cups graham cracker crumbs 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar and melted butter. Press into a 9x13-inch pan. Bake crust for 15 minutes. Let cool. Filling: 2 (8 oz. ea.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened 1 cup sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened 3 large bananas, sliced 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, well drained 1 (12 oz.) tub Cool Whip 1/2 cup chopped nuts 4 oz. maraschino cherries, drained & halved Cream together cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and softened butter. Spread cream cheese mixture over graham cracker crust. Layer sliced bananas, drained pineapple, and Cool Whip in order. Sprinkle with chopped nuts then maraschino cherries. Cover and refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight. Makes 8 servings. |
