CONEY ISLAND HOT DOG SAUCE 
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. onion, chopped
chili powder to taste
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. garlic, minced

Brown ground beef; drain. Add other ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.

Makes 1 1/3 cups.
