APPLE PEANUT CRISP 
6 c. peeled sliced apples
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. sifted flour
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. peanut butter

Place apples in buttered 8 x 8 x 2 baking dish. Sprinkle with juice, water, cinnamon. Blend flour, brown sugar, butter, peanut butter with pastry blender until mixture is fine crumbs.

Sprinkle crumb mixture over apples. Bake in moderate oven at 350 degrees until top is browned and apples tender.

Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
