APPLE CRISP 
1 c. flour
3/4 c. quick oats
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 c. diced apples
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix first 5 ingredients until crumbly. Press half crumbs in greased 9"x12" pan. Cover with apples. Combine sugar, water, flour and vanilla. Cook until clear. Pour over fruit, top with rest of crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until apples are cooked.
