APPLE CRISP FOR 2 OR 3 
2 apples
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 tbsp. butter

Mix dry ingredients, cut in butter with pastry blender until crumb like. Wash and peel apples, cut into eights, arrange in greased baking dish. Sprinkle mixture over apples. Bake at 375 degrees until apples are soft and the crumbs are browned - check after 25 minutes. (My grade school home-ec. recipe!).
