BUTTERNUT SQUASH SOUFFLE OR
SWEET POTATOES SOUFFLE
 
2 med. raw squash, shredded
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 sm. can crushed pineapple
1/2 to 1 c. raisins, if desired
1/2 to 1 c. nuts, if desired
1/2 to 3/4 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk (may use condensed milk)
Marshmallows

Mix all ingredients well except marshmallows. Pour into buttered casserole and bake at 350 degrees about 45 minutes. Top with marshmallows and brown during last few minutes of baking.
