TEA CAKES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon
3 1/2 c. flour (self-rising)
1 tsp. nutmeg
8 oz. c. sour cream

Cream 1/2 cup butter with 1 cup sugar. Add 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 teaspoon lemon. Beat well.

Sift together 3 1/2 cups self-rising flour with 1 teaspoon nutmeg. Add to the creamed mixture alternately with 8 ounce cup of sour cream. Drop by tablespoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until tops are brown.
