FRIEDA'S FRENCH DOUGHNUTS | |
5 tbsp. butter 1/2 c. granulated sugar 1 egg, mix well 2 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1 1/2 c. flour 1/2 c. milk Fill greased muffin tins half full. 8 tbsp. butter Set aside. 1 c. sugar 2 tbsp. cinnamon When doughnuts are done 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees, remove immediately, roll in the butter, then the sugar mixture. Makes about 18 small muffins. Nut tossie pans makes 36 muffins. (Allentown-Trinity) |
