SIMPLE RANCH DRESSING 
The dill flavor is strong in this recipe, which is great for salads but sometimes a bit much for dip. I like to increase the dill weed to 1 1/2 teaspoons if I'm only going to use the dressing for salads. You may want to reduce the dill weed to 1 teaspoon for dips, especially if the dill flavor is too much.

1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup dairy sour cream
1 cup buttermilk
1 1/4 tsp. dried dill weed
1/2 tsp. dried parsley
1 tsp. dried chives
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Combine all ingredients into a bowl or jar that holds at least 4 cups. Whisk together until smooth and well-distributed.
