SPAGHETTI AND SAUSAGE 
6 Italian sausage links
1/4 lb. mushrooms, sliced
1 onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
1 tsp. sugar
16 oz. can tomato paste
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. thyme leaves

In large pot, boil pasta for 10 minutes or until done. Drain and keep warm in pan. In pan brown sausage. After sausage is brown, put in pot of boiling water for 10 minutes. Slice into small pieces. Put mushrooms, onion, garlic, tomatoes (with liquid), sugar, tomato paste, salt, basil and thyme. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes on medium heat. Serve hot over paste.
