1/2 c. butter
1 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. salt
Vanilla
2 c. sugar (1 white, 1 brown)
4 eggs, well beaten
3 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugar; add beaten eggs. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt; add to creamed mixture. Beat well. Add nuts, folding them in. Bake at 350 degrees until toothpick comes out clean. Ice with favorite icing.
