TOURTIERE A LA CANADIENNE 
1 lb. ground pork (fresh ham)
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. water
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 uncooked crust (top and bottom)

Prepare crust (reserving a portion for top crust), making 9 inch mold. Mix all ingredients in pot. Cook on medium heat until meat is done, but not dry. Let cool. Pour cooled meat into bottom shell; tightly seal top crust onto filled bottom, making incisions on top to let heat escape. Cook in 425 degree oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden.

You may freeze cooked pies and reheat at serving time.
