SCALLOPED POTATOES 
Potatoes
Salt & pepper
1 sm. onion, chopped
White American cheese
Parsley flakes
butter, milk, flour

Butter casserole. Slice raw potatoes, fill casserole half full. Add salt and pepper and onion, cover with sliced cheese. Fill casserole with potatoes and sprinkle with parsley flakes. Dot with butter. Heat enough milk in pan to fill casserole and make a little flour thickening, about 1 tablespoon, to thicken milk slightly. Pour into casserole to about 1 inch from top. Bake at 375 degrees for one hour or until soft.
