LIVER PATTIES | |
1 lb. beef liver 3/4 c. chopped onions 1/3 c. bread crumbs 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. milk 2 eggs, slightly beaten 3 tbsp. shortening Remove membrane from liver and grind coarsely. Mix ground liver with onion, crumbs, salt and pepper, milk and eggs. Melt shortening and drop liver mixture by tablespoon, flattening a little and frying until slightly brown on both sides. This makes 18 tempting patties. Taste even better the next day. |
