SEAFOOD SPECTACULAR | |
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 stick plus 2 tbsp. butter 1 lb. raw shrimp, peeled 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 green bell pepper, chopped 2 ribs celery, chopped 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt Creole seasoning to taste 1 tsp. hot pepper sauce 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper 1 pt. crabmeat 1 pkg. linguini In a small saucepan, melt 1 stick butter and cream cheese. Set aside. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter and saute onions, bell pepper, and celery. Add shrimp last. Add cream cheese mixture to shrimp and vegetables. Then add soup and seasonings, mix well. Stir in crabmeat and linguini. Pour into 6 quart Dutch oven. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. Serves 8. Best when it is refrigerated overnight. |
