COCKTAIL MEATBALLS | |
1 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs 1/3 c. minced onion 1 egg 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 c. milk 1 tbsp. snipped parsley 3/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/4 c. shortening 1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce 1 (10 oz.) jar grape jelly 2 tbsp. lemon juice, opt. Mix and shape into 1 inch balls first 9 ingredients. Brown in shortening. Remove and drain fat. Heat chili sauce, grape jelly and lemon juice until jelly melts. Add meatballs and stir to coat. Simmer 30 minutes, uncovered. Cocktail sausage or franks may be substituted for meatballs. |
