1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
3 c. grated apples

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, salt, and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Add apples. Pour in pan 9 inch size, greased and floured. Bake 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
