FUDGE NUT BARS 
1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) Nestle's semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 c. (1 can) sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. walnuts, chopped
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 unbeaten eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. quick-cooking rolled oats

Melt chocolate morsels, condensed milk, butter and salt over boiling water. Remove from heat. Add chopped walnuts and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Set aside.

Sift flour, baking soda, and salt. Cream butter. Gradually add brown sugar. Add unbeaten eggs and 2 teaspoons vanilla; blend well. Stir in the dry ingredients and rolled oats. Press 2/3 of mixture in greased 12x18 inch pan or two 9x9 inch pans.

Spread with chocolate filling. Crumble remaining mixture over filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes until lightly browned. Cool; cut into bars. Cover with Saran Wrap. Makes 2 or 3 dozen.
