SWEDISH SPONGE CAKE | |
3 eggs 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. cold water 1 1/4 c. flour, sifted 3 times 2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt Beat egg yolks until light. Add sugar, 1/3 cup at a time. Continue beating and add water, then flour, mixed and sifted with baking powder and salt. Beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry. Fold egg whites into mixture. Make 40 minutes at 350 degrees. |
