PECAN DAINTIES 
Cheese pastry
3 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. butter
1 c. plain flour

PECAN FILLING:

1 egg
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
2/3 c. chopped pecans

Blend cream cheese and butter. Stir in flour. Chill 1 hour. Shape into 24 balls. Place in muffin pans. Press dough up sides and bottom.

Filling: Combine all ingredients, except pecans. Beat until smooth. Add pecans. Pour into pastry. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes.
