COUNTRY FRIED STEAK 
1.5 lbs. ground beef or chuck
1.5 tsp. salt
2.5 c. milk
1 tsp. pepper
.75 c. plus 3 tbsp. flour

Combine meat, salt, pepper and flour. Mix well. Roll out with rolling pin about.5 inch thick. Cut into 4 x 4 inch pieces. Place in hot fat in skillet. Cook until lightly browned. Remove from skillet. Add remaining flour. Cook until browned. Add milk and remaining salt. Cook until thick. Pour gravy over steak. 5 servings.
