STUFFED SALISBURY STEAK 
3 lbs. ground beef
1 (2.5 oz.) pkg. dry onion and mushroom soup and recipe mix (2 envs.)
1 roasted lg. red pepper, cut in 6 strips
3 oz. Provolone cheese, cut in 3 x 1/2 x 1/4 inch strips
6 strips boiled ham (3 oz.), 3 x 1 1/2 x 1/4 inches

Preheat broiler or barbecue grill. In large bowl, gently mix beef with soup mix. Divide mixture into 4 large ovals; with thumb, make an indentation in 1 side of oval. Fill each with a strip of pepper cheese and ham. Press meat around filling to seal and reshape ovals, if necessary. Broil 6 inches from heat 5 minutes. Turn; grill 5 minutes longer for medium rare.
