NUT BREAD 
3 c. flour
1 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 beaten egg
1 1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. cooking oil
3/4 c. chopped walnuts

Stir thoroughly the first 4 ingredients. Combine egg, milk and oil. Add to dry ingredients, beating well. Stir in nuts. Turn into greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 70 minutes.

Remove from pan, cool on rack. Makes 1 loaf.

CRANBERRY NUT BREAD: Add to mixture 1/2 cup chopped fresh cranberries.
