BANANA NUT BREAD 
1 c. dark corn syrup
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
2 c. unsifted flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. mashed, ripe bananas
1 c. chopped nuts

Grease 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Stir together corn syrup and butter until blended. Add eggs; continue beating until light. Stir together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to syrup mixture alternately with banana. Stir in nuts. Turn batter into prepared pan. Bake at 375 degree oven for 60 to 65 minutes or until golden brown and cake tester inserted in center comes out clean.
