ALL BRAN BREAD 
3 c. All Bran
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. raisins or chopped dates
3 c. buttermilk
3 tbsp. dark corn syrup
3 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
3 c. flour, sifted
1/2 c. nuts

Mix bran, sugar, raisins, buttermilk and corn syrup. Let stand 5 minutes. Add rest of ingredients and mix lightly (only until flour is dampened. Fill greased cans half full. Place in cold oven. Set temperature at 325 degrees and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes. Makes 4 loaves. Use #2 1/2 fruit cans or 1 lb. coffee cans.
