OVERNIGHT SALAD 
1 head lettuce, cut up (not wet)
1 lg. sweet onion (vidalia or walla walla are best, but Bermudas also work well)
1 sm. head cauliflower
Salt and pepper
1/4 c. sugar
2 c. mayonnaise
1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 lb. bacon, cooked and cut

Prepare the night before. In a large salad bowl, place lettuce first, then onion, bacon, and finally cauliflower. On top, sprinkle the remaining ingredients. Put mayonnaise on in spoonfuls. Cover bowl tightly and refrigerate. Stir before serving. Serves 8 for main course, 12 for salad with meal.
