CHEESE AND CHIPS | |
2 pkgs. corn chips 1 pkg. sharp cheese 1 pkg. Jack cheese 1 can diced chile peppers Spread chips in single layer on large pan (pizza pan). Sprinkle with grated sharp and Jack cheeses and diced peppers. Bake in 400 degree oven until cheese melts. DIETITIAN'S NOTE: For these tasty favorites, simply substitute homemade tortilla chips in place of high calorie, fat, sodium commercial chips. They are inexpensive, contain 80% less fat, are naturally low in sodium and take 15 minutes from start to finish. Choose low fat cheeses such as Kraft light naturals. This recipe can also be served with salsa or bean dip. |
