HUNGARIAN GOULASH 
Take 1 pound each of lean veal and lean beef, cut into small cubes and add to a large sliced onion, browned lightly in 1 tablespoon hot drippings or butter. Season with 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon paprika; then add 1 cup strained tomatoes, cover and cook for 1 hour. Put in three potatoes, cut into small cubes. Cover and cook about 1/2 hour longer until potatoes are tender.
